ANPs can see patients for virtually anything they would normally see a GP for. They diagnose and treat problems, carry out physical examinations, arrange investigations, make referrals and they are independent prescribers.

The only patients they are unable to see are pregnant ladies

Mrs Mandy Bunclark

Mandy has over 25 years of experience working independently in the community visiting and treating housebound patients and patients who have chronic illness.

Rachel England-Frost

Rachel has worked with Blyth Road Medical Centre several years as a Practice Nurse before becoming qualified as an ANP, she specialises in respiratory health.

Practice Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.
